Acura NSX Prototype Impresses Fans at Mid-Ohio Race Course

However, Acura is keeping the fans and sports car enthusiasts updated with all the developments that have been updated. Acura already made an announcement last month that their new Acura NSX prototype will lap the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Today at the event fans were delighted to see the new Acura NSX prototype lapping the race course allowing them to see how the car has developed in the last few months.

Acura revealed that they wanted to make sure that they showcase the prototype vehicle to the fans before running for the Honda Indy 200 that will also take place on the same race course. The automaker said that they wanted to showcase the development and progress that they are making to bring out better supercar in the year 2015 which is their ultimate goal at the moment. The sports car lapped the 2.4 mile race course without any problems and impressed many Acura fans with the kind of speed and versatility that was displayed. The car was driven by the member of Ohio based engineering development team.

The supercar maker also said that they have many plans on the cards but they will work on it gradually. Currently, the car is being developed by Honda R&D Americas Inc and Ted Klaus, Chief Engineer of Honda R&D Americas Inc was present at the event. While speaking to the audience Klaus said that it is glad to showcase the prototype to the fans and the performance of the car indicated that they are progressing well with the development of the next generation supercar that will be launched in the year 2015 for the customers around the world.
