Chevrolet To Unveil The 2015 Corvette Z06 This January

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 While the Stingray Convertible is all set for sale by the end of this month, what most car-lovers are waiting for is the Corvette Z06. This wait is soon to be over! Chevrolet confirms the uncovering of the 2015 Corvette Z06 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this January.

Established in Detroit in 1911, Chevrolet is one of the world’s most popular car brands with its business expanded over more than 140 countries worldwide. Providing energy-efficient, super quality and innovative design vehicles to customers for over a century now, Chevrolet enjoys a prestigious position as one of the favorite car brands.

The information came in when Alan Batey, senior vice president, Global Chevrolet was reported as saying, “Chevrolet is America’s favourite performance car brand, and for 2014 we are going to offer enthusiasts more choices than ever before.” He further observed, “no other manufacturer will be able to match the breath of performance cars from Chevrolet.”

Though no details have been given away except for a teaser image released by Chevrolet, the unveiling of this supercar has been confirmed for January 2014 by several reliable sources.

All that can be inferred from the teaser illustration of the car are a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires over striking alloy rims, carbon-fiber side skirts, and rear quarter vents. Guaranteed to “deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features”, the 2015 Corvette Z06 is believed to be the “most track-capable Corvette ever,” reported the GM Media Online.

With production expected to start in the latter half of the next year, the Z06 Corvette will join the budding Chevrolet’s performance car family, along with the Camaro Z/28 and SS sedan.
