Porsche Introduces 2014 Cayenne Platinum Edition

2014 Porsche Cayenne Platinum EditionPorsche has already received good response for the Cayenne models that they have already introduced in the United States market. To make it even better, Porsche has now decided to offer a special edition Cayenne series called the Platinum Edition that is based on the Porsche Cayenne gasoline and diesel models. The major difference between the regular Cayenne and the new Platinum Edition is that all the most requested options in the regular Cayenne will now be used as standard features in the Platinum Edition. The two new Platinum Edition models are already available for sale now in some parts of the world, but will be available in the United States starting January 2014.

To make the special edition look different from the outside it gets exterior detail accents in Platinum Silver Metallic with an exclusive two tone standard interior in Black Luxor Beige. The accents painted in Platinum Silver Metallic will include the center and side air intake grills, side window trim, rear lip spoiler and the lower tailgate trim. The standard colors include monotone paint finishes in Black and White while Meteor Grey Metallic, Basalt Black Metallic and Mahogany Metallic will have additional cost. Porsche will also offer exclusive Cayenne edition Carrara White Metallic paint finish.

The interiors will have eight speed Tiptronic S transmission, power steering plus, Park Assist front and rear for the consumers. The new version will also offer Convenience Package and Bose Audio Package to the consumers. The Black Luxor Beige two tone interior combination will also be reserved for this new version. Partial leather interior is standard but consumers who want full leather can opt for it. The car will have the similar 3.6 liter V6 engine that delivers 300 horsepower and 295 lb feet of torque and offers better acceleration of zero to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. The diesel version will have 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine with 240 horsepower and offer acceleration of 7.2 seconds. The petrol version will be priced at $63,300 while the diesel version will be available at $66,900.
