Lexus to Showcase 2014 Lexus IS Sport Sedan at 2013 SEMA Show

2014 Lexus IS Sport SedanLexus has been trying to promote their new sport sedan and now the automotive company has decided to make a grand entry at the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas where they will introduce their new 2014 Lexus IS sport sedan. Lexus believes that this is the right platform for them to bring out their new sport sedan which will be the third generation IS and they have come up with aggressive exterior styling that is demonstrated with spindle grille, wider stance and sporty rocker panels that have been added to the car for the first time.

Lexus also mentioned that for adding better exteriors they have decided to join hands with DeviantART that have helped them to get the new aggressive style factor that will be added to the car. Both the companies said that they challenged the design community to come up with their vision for the 2014 Lexus IS sport sedan and better custom exterior treatments and modifications and the response was immensely positive. Lexus said that they received more than 600 innovative submissions and to narrow it down they had four judges that shortlisted 25 top designs.

The top 25 entries were selected on being true to the essence of the 2014 IS design. DeviantART and Lexus also made the announcement of the top three winners that won the challenge. Rob Evans took the first place and won the challenge and it will be his rendering and design that will be on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Lexus and DeviantART will offer Rob Evans with one year lease of a 2014 Lexus IS F Sport, $2000, and trip to the SEMA show to see the concept on display, 8,000 DeviantART points and one year premium membership to DeviantART. The new IS will be exhibited at the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 5 to November 8, 2013.
